Team

Who is behind it?

Peter Boeker studied chemical engineering and has a PhD in physical chemistry. As a postdoctoral researcher, he set up a working group on gas sensing and artificial odour measurement technology. The work with trace gases eventually led to analytical chemistry. In 2013, he invented the flow-field thermal gradient GC and developed it with the HyperChrom team to a certified measurement system.

The HyperChrom team consists of people with different experiences and knowledge. The business expertise is represented by Paul Chambers, the co-founder and Tom Beicht, two experienced founders and business developers. The technical and scientific expertise is represented by Peter Boeker and the laboratory and method development expertise by Maria Hesse.

Through the close connection to the scientific working group at the University of Bonn, the theory of gradient GC is additionally developed and fruitfully used to improve the measurement systems.
