Figure 23 : The partition coefficient k in HPLC is helpful only in case of isocratic separation conditions, but the majority of HPLC separation are done programmed. Never the less: it may be helpful to see how the k(HPLC) data correlate with k(PLC) data. Well done and correctly measured the agreement is quite good. NOTE: linear Rf values only in TLC.
